GA Conference on Info Lit

Greetings from La Fairfield. There's free wifi in the hotel, which is very cool. But no in-room coffee. Go figure.

There were some very interesting presentations today. Good stuff about communicating/ collaborating with faculty, lots of freshman writing program stuff. Good random tips in the middle of other things too. There are a surprising number of teaching faculty here (mostly English) in addition the librarians. Dennis Jerz from Seton Hill (not Seton Hall!), who is presenting in same session w/ Charles Tyron tomorrow, was in a couple of my sessions and had some good perspectives on things from the teaching side.

Hopefully there will be an Information Lit blog type thing for GPC soon to post some of the presentations etc.
